Senior Systems Administrator at JWT (March 2007 - Present)

as a Senior Systems Administrator:
- Took over a small implementation of Citrix XenDesktop and turned it into the global headquarters' only Windows desktop user-facing platform. Brought the deployment to the true enterprise level by migrating it from Citrix XenServer to VMware vSphere Enterprise.
- Inherited a stagnant XenApp deployment that only existed because it came with XenDesktop and turned it into a mobile app solution presented to JWT personnel globally.

- Upgraded, repaired, and maintained a fleet of nearly 100 HP ProLiant DL-class servers.
- Cisco networking and switch configuration, including SAN fibre switch configuration
- Managed a small team responsible for 3rd tier support of more than 1300 Macintosh desktops, laptops, and servers around the world.
- Responsible for imaging, hardware deployment, remote software deployment, hardware repair, and maintenance of these computers. Built a modular (non-monolithic) imaging solution and associated application packages to simplify mass deployment of custom computer configurations for a large variety of user-types.
- Successfully integrated the Mac platform into an worldwide enterprise environment: including but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory integration, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and Microsoft Exchange deployment.
- Designed, configured, maintained, and documented servers and infrastructure to support various systems.
- Planned and executed backup strategies, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery procedures for the maintained systems.
